As a media artist, I’ve had to learn various software tools to create my work. I’ve spent a significant amount of time developing these technical skills, and over time, being a media artist became an important part of my identity.
But then AI came along, and suddenly, many of the technical limitations I had faced began to disappear.
This made me rethink what art really means to me.
How can I explain this?
I’ve always admired artworks that use metaphors and carry hidden meanings. But I was so focused on learning technology and developing my technical skills that I couldn’t fully explore those aspects of art.
Now, I feel that what truly matters is communicating something meaningful to people through my work.
I want to explore different artistic approaches to express my thoughts and emotions. And I think visual expression will always be the most natural way for me to communicate.
